Egis has operated in Ireland since 1994 and is one of the largest multi-disciplinary consultancy, engineering and operations firms in the country. Our services in Ireland span the full lifespan of infrastructure, from upstream feasibility studies through design, construction supervision, delivery and operations. Job Description

Egis are now hiring a Rail T&C Manager for our Cork office. The role focuses on overseeing the commissioning process of railway systems by leading reviews of plans and documentation, managing operational readiness, and ensuring safety compliance. It involves coordinating with various stakeholders, including project managers and contractors, to facilitate smooth operations, handling documentation and reporting, and providing technical guidance to the team.

The role requires applying NEC principles for contract administration, coordinating project handover and training, identifying and managing risks. Effective communication and leadership are essential to manage stakeholder interactions successfully.

This position offers the chance to lead and coordinate complex projects, work with diverse teams and stakeholders, and ensure the successful implementation of safety and quality standards. Qualifications

Knowledge and experience:

IRSE Licence Holder
Relevant Professional Registration
Proven experience in commissioning management within railway or infrastructure projects.
Strong understanding of NEC contract administration.
Excellent leadership and stakeholder management skills.
Proficiency in safety and quality standards relevant to railway operations.
Effective communication and reporting capabilities.
Ability to manage complex documentation and coordinate across multidisciplinary teams.
