Senior Pharmacist Permanent Part-Time 22.5 Hours per Week

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Senior Pharmacist to join the Bon Secours Health System Hospital Galway, Ireland’s Largest Private Healthcare provider.

Job Purpose:

The Senior Pharmacist is responsible for overseeing the preparation, dispensing, and safe use of medications within the hospital. Working closely with medical and nursing staff, they ensure the delivery of high-quality pharmaceutical care to patients.

Ideal Candidate will have an ability to demonstrate:

Excellent planning, organisational and resource management skills
Committed and professional attitude
Excellent leadership, interpersonal and people management skills
Experience of change management and quality improvement initiatives

Essential Qualifications:

Be registered with the pharmaceutical society of Ireland or be entitled to be so registered.
Minimum 3 years’ experience (Hospital experience desirable)
Ability to work carefully, methodically and accurately
