About the role

Our new Reactive Maintenance Officer will perform tasks related to the maintenance of Council owned Roads and Path Assets and Infrastructure. You will also assist in the delivery of established Maintenance Programs and Services within the Civil Maintenance Team. Key responsibilities will include maintenance activities comprising of minor road or drainage maintenance repairs, basic civil works, ‘make safe’ temporary works and other duties relevant to the position.

This is a full/part time permanent/temporary role based at the Operations Centre.

This is a Band 3 classified role. Remuneration will be $68,027.02 to $72,630.73 gross per annum (depending on experience) plus superannuation in accordance with the Superannuation Guarantee.

What you will bring to this role

The key selection criteria for this role are:

Experience in road or drainage maintenance activities;
Experience in implementing and recording traffic management plans and safety activities;
Excellent customer service
