This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Senior Product Analyst based in Ireland.

This role offers the opportunity to become an independent analytical voice within a product team focused on matching, relationships, messaging, and AI-assisted user experiences.
You’ll work closely with product managers and senior leadership to determine whether product initiatives are delivering meaningful results and where investment can create the greatest impact.
Rather than simply building dashboards, you’ll design rigorous experiments, challenge assumptions, investigate anomalies, and turn complex data into actionable product decisions.
You’ll help establish a coherent measurement framework across acquisition, retention, reactivation, churn, and other key business drivers.
The position combines advanced product analytics, statistical experimentation, business understanding, and strong product thinking.
You’ll have a high degree of autonomy, with the opportunity to identify growth opportunities, develop hypotheses, and follow them through to measurable outcomes.
This is a fully remote environment suited to an analytical professional who enjoys ownership, critical thinking, and using data to influence product direction.

Accountabilities

Design and run product experiments end to end, including hypothesis development, test duration, sample-size requirements, feasibility assessment, A/B testing, statistical significance, and interpretation of results.
Unify product metrics across multiple product areas into a coherent measurement framework, connecting the core company metric to acquisition, retention, reactivation, churn, and other key drivers.
Act as an independent analytical voice, ensuring product decisions are grounded in reliable evidence rather than assumptions or intuition.
Identify high-leverage growth opportunities where relatively small investments or changes can generate meaningful improvements in key metrics.
Connect product metrics to business goals, estimates, and costs, monitoring performance and identifying potential deviations from targets early.
Generate, prioritize, and validate product hypotheses in close collaboration with product managers.
Investigate anomalies and unexpected metric movements, identify root causes, and highlight potential product issues before they become more significant.
Assess product initiatives against broader business objectives and provide clear, data-driven perspectives on priorities and expected impact.
Continuously improve analytical processes, methodologies, and ways of working by identifying opportunities for greater rigor and efficiency.

Requirements

4+ years of professional experience in product analytics, ideally within a product environment with large or complex data volumes.
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent academic background in mathematics, engineering, or a related technical discipline.
Strong practical knowledge of mathematical statistics and probability theory.
Proven hands-on experience designing and running A/B tests, including test sizing, statistical significance, and results interpretation.
Strong proficiency in SQL and Python, with experience in data extraction, processing, analysis, and visualization; familiarity with Superset is a plus.
Deep understanding of product and marketing metrics such as LTV, CPA, retention, and conversion rate, including how these metrics connect to broader business performance.
Strong product thinking and the ability to interpret user behavior behind quantitative metrics.
High autonomy and ownership, with the ability to independently identify growth opportunities and follow initiatives through to measurable impact.
Strong critical-thinking skills, including the ability to challenge assumptions, validate data, and cross-check analytical conclusions.
Excellent communication skills, with the ability to explain complex analytical findings clearly and structure recommendations around measurable impact.
Experience with social products, dating, gaming, or two-sided marketplaces is an advantage.
Hands-on experience with recommender systems is a plus.
Previous experience working with data-rich, high-volume products is desirable.
