HarZa Group is a fast-growing operator of direct-to-consumer brands in health and wellness. Our flagship brand, Rejuvacare, serves more than 400,000 customers with products targeting chronic pain and mobility, including RejuvaKnee, FootRenew, RejuvaFlow and OzemPatch. We ship primarily to the United States and run a membership program that powers recurring revenue. The company has scaled 12x in a single year to nearly 150 people across more than 15 countries. The Role

We are looking for an exceptional senior direct response copywriter to take ownership of our post-click funnels. This is not a role for someone who receives a brief, writes the copy and moves on. We are looking for someone who treats funnels the way an exceptional creative strategist treats advertising: research the customer and the market, form a hypothesis, develop the concept, write the copy, get the funnel launched, study the performance, identify the constraint, develop the next test, and turn every result into a feedback loop.

You will be deeply involved in the commercial performance of everything you write. Once a funnel goes live you should be watching click-through rates, advertorial to sales page click-through, quiz completion, sales page and checkout conversion, revenue per visitor, average order value, order bump and upsell take rates, refund rates and contribution margin. A page is not finished when the copy is approved. It is finished when it has launched, been measured, and produced a learning that improves the next page.

Your ultimate objective is to remove the founders from writing and reviewing routine funnel copy. Initially they will remain closely involved and may still write a large share of it. You will work directly with them, learn their frameworks, understand their decision-making, and gradually take ownership of the function. Success means reaching the point where the founders no longer need to write funnel copy, rewrite your work, or independently double-check it before launch. From there you create leverage through AI systems, documented processes and, in time, additional writers trained and managed beneath you.

A Note on the Category

This is claims-led direct response, not product-led ecommerce, and the distinction matters more than any other line in this description. Our products address chronic pain and mobility. The benefit is not visually obvious, it cannot be demonstrated in a photograph, and it cannot be sold on aspiration. Belief has to be built through mechanism, proof, advertorial and presell structure, and honest handling of objections, all inside the compliance limits of a health category.

Copywriters who have scaled fashion, accessories, beauty or other visually self-evident products often find that their playbook does not transfer. A strong track record in a product-led category is welcome but does not substitute for this. We will prioritize candidates who have written for health, wellness, supplements or another claims-sensitive category and who understand what can and cannot be said.

Why This Role Is Different

The founders have generated more than nine figures in post-purchase upsell revenue in under twenty-four months. That figure is post-purchase upsell revenue specifically, not total front-end company revenue. You will get direct access to the frameworks behind those results, existing research, templates, processes and funnel data, direct feedback and training from the founders, a portfolio of brands and offers with significant traffic, a high-volume testing environment where your ideas get launched and measured, and real commercial data across multiple funnel types, offers and traffic sources.

This is an opportunity to develop beyond being a copywriter. The right person can progress toward Head of Funnel Copy, Head of Funnel Strategy, Director of Conversion, or operator of one of our portfolio brands. We prefer to promote from within, and progression is based on commercial results, leadership ability and the amount of responsibility you can absorb.

What You Will Own

Post-Click Funnel Strategy

Act as the strategic owner of post-click messaging and conversion copy. Participate in marketing, campaign and offer planning, understand what each traffic source needs after the click, and ensure message continuity between the advertisement, presell page, sales page, checkout and upsell journey. Recommend the right funnel format based on the offer, traffic source, customer awareness and market sophistication, and determine when a campaign needs an advertorial, listicle, quiz, long-form page, short-form page or another structure. Collaborate with media buyers and creative strategists to understand the promise that generated the click, and identify disconnects between the ad message and the landing page experience. Your remit begins at the click, but you must understand the whole acquisition system to make intelligent post-click decisions.

Customer and Market Research

Research the customer before developing the copy. Analyze reviews, surveys, support tickets, customer interviews, call transcripts, refund reasons and community discussions. Study competitor offers, positioning, mechanisms, pricing and funnel structures. Identify desires, fears, frustrations, failed solutions, objections and buying triggers, understand the customer's level of awareness and the sophistication of the market, and distinguish between what customers say they want and what their behaviour suggests they value. Build voice-of-customer libraries that preserve the language customers actually use, validate that claims are supportable and appropriate for the category, and convert raw research into usable copy insight rather than research documents nobody reads.

Hypothesis Before Writing

Every meaningful funnel project begins with a clear hypothesis. Identify the metric or funnel stage being targeted, diagnose the likely reason for underperformance, state the customer insight behind the diagnosis, define what will change and why it should influence behaviour, select a primary success metric and the guardrails around it, and determine what result would validate or invalidate the idea. The first question is not what copy should I write. It is what is the constraint, why does it exist, and what evidence suggests this is the right solution.

Writing Complete Funnels

Write and optimize new offer positioning, unique mechanisms, big ideas, hooks and leads, advertorials, listicles, quiz flows, long-form and short-form sales pages, product detail pages, offer sections, pricing and bundle presentation, guarantees, checkout copy, order bumps, post-purchase upsells, downsells, cross-sells, funnel transitions, calls to action, and the supporting briefs for page graphics and visual proof. You must be able to develop a major long-form funnel from a blank page and equally to identify and rewrite the one critical section inside an existing funnel.

The Offer, Not Only the Words

Copy cannot be separated from the offer. You will think critically about positioning, price, quantity, bundles, discounts, bonuses, guarantees, payment options, shipping thresholds, subscription structures, order bumps, upsell sequencing and offer continuity through the funnel. You should be willing to conclude that the copy is not the main problem and that the right recommendation is to change the offer, reorder the upsells, change the price, improve the guarantee, remove a step or target a different segment. Your responsibility is to improve the commercial result, not to defend the original brief.

Funnel Economics

Understand the underlying economics of each offer, including selling price, cost of goods, pick and pack, shipping, payment processing, discounts, refunds, chargebacks, subscription take rates, upsell margins, gross and contribution margin, customer acquisition cost, and revenue and profit per visitor. A higher AOV is not automatically better if contribution margin falls, a higher conversion rate is not better if refunds rise, and a pricing test must be judged on full funnel economics rather than one isolated metric. You do not need to be a finance professional. You do need to think like an owner.

Staying Close to Live Performance

Once your copy is launched, confirm the correct version went live, review performance against the control and at each funnel step, segment where appropriate, compare mobile and desktop, look for discrepancies between traffic sources, use heatmaps and behavioural data where helpful, and compare primary against guardrail metrics. Document what worked, what did not and why, recommend the next action, and feed every meaningful learning back into research and writing. You should feel personal ownership of the result without becoming defensive when an idea loses. A losing test that produces a real learning is useful. A test launched without a hypothesis and never reviewed is not.

The Learning System and AI Leverage

Build and maintain a searchable archive of tests and results recording the original problem, hypothesis, change, result and learning. Identify recurring patterns across brands and funnel types, separate genuine principles from conclusions drawn on insufficient data, convert repeated winners into reusable frameworks, and prevent failed concepts from being unknowingly repeated. Insight should become company knowledge rather than living in one person's head.

Alongside that, become highly AI-enabled. Use and improve AI-assisted systems for research synthesis, voice-of-customer clustering, transcript and review analysis, competitor and mechanism research, angle development, hypothesis generation, copy outlining, first drafts, variations, objection identification, quality control, claim consistency review, funnel analysis and test documentation. You will not use a generic chatbot to produce first drafts. You will help build structured processes containing the right context, approved source material, brand knowledge, customer research, historical winners, founder frameworks, defined quality criteria and clear review stages. The standard is not whether AI was used. It is whether AI helped us produce better research, better copy, more tests and faster learning without lowering quality.

What We Are Looking For

Substantial professional experience in direct response copywriting, gained over several years writing for real offers with meaningful traffic. A portfolio containing both long-form and short-form funnel copy, significant experience writing for cold traffic, and proven experience in DTC ecommerce, direct response or another measurable-response environment. Evidence that your work has generated meaningful revenue or measurable conversion improvement. Experience writing complete funnels rather than isolated page sections, including advertorials, listicles, sales pages, quizzes, checkouts and post-purchase upsells.

Experience in health, wellness, supplements or another claims-sensitive category, and an understanding of how to build belief where the benefit is not visually demonstrable. A strong grasp of customer awareness, market sophistication, offers, mechanisms, leads, proof, objections and risk reversal. The ability to conduct and synthesize deep customer research and turn it into a clear hypothesis and a persuasive argument.

Strong analytical fluency and comfort with funnel performance data, the ability to diagnose where a funnel is losing customers, a working understanding of AOV, revenue per visitor, upsell take rates, gross margin and contribution margin, experience creating and evaluating conversion tests, and the ability to distinguish correlation, noise and meaningful evidence.

Strong AI fluency with evidence of using AI inside a real research, writing or analysis workflow. The ability to write quickly without sacrificing strategic depth, the confidence to challenge a weak brief or assumption, the humility to change direction when the data disproves an idea, the communication skills to work with founders, media buyers, designers and analysts, and the potential to train and lead additional writers as the function grows. You must be able to overlap consistently with our collaboration window of 8:00am to 12:00pm EST.

High-volume Meta, native, Google or affiliate traffic, post-purchase upsell funnels, portfolio or multi-brand environments, CRO or direct response agencies, subscription offers, and experience building copy systems or training programs are all highly advantageous.

Evidence We Expect to See

Applicants should demonstrate results, not simply submit polished writing samples. Strong evidence includes funnel revenue, conversion rate improvements, revenue per visitor and AOV improvements, upsell take rate and contribution margin improvements, results against an established control, evidence of scaling an offer, before and after funnel performance, and a sequence of tests showing how an insight developed over time.

We understand that candidates may be under confidentiality agreements. Results can be anonymized, but you should still be able to explain what the offer was, what the original problem was, what you personally owned, what research you conducted, what hypothesis you formed, what you changed, which metric moved, how much traffic supported the conclusion, and what happened next. We are more interested in clear thinking and honest attribution than impressive numbers without context.

This Role Is Not

This is not a junior copywriting position, a brand copy role, a content or social media role, or an ad-copy-only position. It is not a role where you write from a brief without questioning it, where your responsibility ends when the document is submitted, or where you would rather your work was not measured. It is not a pure CRO analyst role in which you never write, nor a management-only role in which you no longer produce. It is not for someone who uses AI to generate generic copy and calls that leverage, who needs the founders to supply every angle and mechanism, who waits to be told which test to run, or who blames media buying, design or development without investigating the full funnel.
