Job Purpose

The Operations Manager will play a key role in ensuring the smooth and efficient running of our insurance brokerage. You will oversee day-to-day office operations and administration while supporting the wider team through process improvement, compliance adherence, and strategic operational support.

This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a dynamic environment, has a passion for efficiency, and enjoys making a tangible impact.

You’ll be based in our Dundalk office, with working hours of:

Monday to Thursday: 8:30am – 5:00pm
Friday: 8:30am – 4:30pm

Your responsibilities day to day will be…

Office Management: Manage facilities, procurement, and a productive office environment.
Operational Efficiency: Streamline processes and improve business-wide efficiencies.
Business Improvement: Lead on data enrichment and lead generation to drive commercial performance.
Compliance & Governance: Ensure regulatory compliance and liaise with legal and compliance teams.
Claims Administration: Assist clients with claims while adhering to regulatory standards.
General Administration: Maintain high-quality, compliant document management.
Process Improvement: Continuously improve workflows and systems.
Team Support: Be the go-to for operational queries and admin support.
Onboarding: Involvement in onboarding/offboarding, with a focus on sales agent readiness.
Team Management: Lead the operations team (customer service, lead gen, and admin).

What do we expect of you?

Experience in an operations or office management role, preferably within insurance or professional services.
APA qualification is desirable but not essential—support will be provided to complete relevant insurance certifications.
Strong organisation, multitasking, and problem-solving abilities.
Familiarity with insurance compliance and regulatory requirements is an advantage.
Confident communicator with excellent stakeholder management skills.
Proficiency in MS Office and business management systems.
Strong team leadership and third party negotiation skills.
Proactive and adaptable, with a continuous improvement mindset.

Qualifications
