Job Description

As a Senior Process Technician you are responsible for operating and tending to production equipment in the creation of products across Avery Dennison Medical’s manufacturing operations. You will ensure that production outputs consistently meet the company's standards for volume, speed, and quality. and play a vital part in maintaining operational efficiency and supporting the site's commitment to delivering high-quality materials to the medical industry and beyond.

Key responsibilities:

Follow production and process specifications for setting up, efficiently running, and maintaining production outputs that meet Avery Dennison’s standards for volumes, speeds, and quality.
Continuously review current processes and search out improvement methods to improve product/process quality and reduce waste, rework, and unnecessary work.
Support safety, quality, and continuous improvement initiatives.
Assist and support other team members in meeting department and site goals. Participate and share in performing all tasks necessary to run the facility. Contribute and participate in team decision making. Provide support in project work and other special requests.
Monitor machine instruments and related controls to ensure adherence to these specifications.
Load raw materials into machines, determine and control machine operations, make necessary adjustments, and unload finished products.
Report machine malfunctions or abnormalities, make minor adjustments and repairs to equipment, and maintain accurate operating records and logs of equipment and product performance.

Qualifications

Proven experience in machine operation and technical processes within a manufacturing environment.
Strong mechanical aptitude with the ability to measure close tolerances and perform adjustments to complex production equipment.
Demonstrated commitment to a quality-focused and safe work environment with high attention to detail.
Excellent troubleshooting skills and the ability to maintain consistent production records in accordance with standard operating procedures.
Strong collaborative mindset with the ability to work effectively as part of a dynamic, multi-functional production team.
