About Us

Founded in 2008, dōTERRA was built on a mission to share tested-grade essential oils with the world. Having seen for themselves the incredible benefits of using these precious resources, a group of healthcare and business professionals set out to make this mission a reality. They formed a company and named it dōTERRA, a Latin derivative meaning ‘Gift of the Earth.’

Since the company’s creation in the U.S. the dōTERRA product offering has expanded across nutrition, spa and healthy living products all centred around essential oils and a comprehensive wellness philosophy. dōTERRA is now present in over 150 countries worldwide.

Utilising a direct selling model, dōTERRA allows its Wellness Advocates to provide direct guidance to their customers.

This approach provides individuals with the opportunity to experience the incredible power of essential oils while also developing relationships of trust. Over 7 million members now use and share dōTERRA products around the world.
