Electrical Maintenance Technician

The opportunity

M50GSE Dublin Airport is looking for an Mechanic/ Electrical Maintenance Technician with a proven background in the automotive/commercial industry.

M50GSE currently provide maintenance and repair services for the total up-keep of over 1,000 units for major Airline, Airport and Ground handling companies.

Full-time, Permanent. Salary commensurate with experience.

Working Hours:

Monday to Friday, 0800 to 1630

Responsibilities:

Install, maintain, trouble shoot and repair aircraft ground support and industrial equipment and associated electrical and electronic controls.
Read, interpret electrical drawings, schematics and the electrical code specifications.
Test electrical and electronic equipment and components for continuity, current, voltage and resistance.
Maintain, repair, test and install electrical motors, generators, alternators and industrial batteries.
Conduct preventative maintenance programs.
May install, maintain and calibrate industrial instrumentation and related devices.
Good decision maker and ability to work on own initiative and as part of a team
Excellent time keeping and punctuality

Requirements:

Hold a valid Driving Licence (Essential).
Mechanic with strong background in DC electrics (Essential)
Strong communication skills, both written & verbal.
DC Systems and Generator systems an advantage
Knowledge of repair and fault finding.
Strong problem solving and decision-making skills.
Strong team working ethos.
Very good English language skills
