Sprout is built on characters, and attitude matters.

As a Team Leader, you help set the tone for the restaurant. You’ll lead great shifts, support your Restaurant Leader, develop the people around you and make sure our food, service and standards are where they should be.

This is a role for someone who enjoys taking ownership, leads by example and wants to keep growing as a leader.

Reporting to: Restaurant Leader
Contract: Full-time
Pay: €16.35–€18 per hour, depending on experience and role

What you get

Great food on every shift
Team discount across all Sprout locations
Real opportunities to grow, we love promoting from within
Leadership development through Sprout University
Wellbeing and mental health support
Regular team socials and celebrations
A team and culture where people genuinely care about each other

What you’ll do

Lead great shifts

Set the team up for success, own the shift plan and make sure everyone knows where they need to be. Keep things moving when it gets busy and lead calmly from the front.

Develop your team

Support new starters, coach people on the job and give clear, useful feedback. Spot potential in others and help them build confidence and take the next step.

Create a great place to work

Build strong relationships with the team, encourage open communication and make sure people feel supported, recognised and part of what’s happening.

Deliver brilliant hospitality

Make sure customers feel genuinely welcome and looked after. Step in when something hasn’t gone right and find a way to turn the experience around.

Protect our food standards

Keep a close eye on quality, portioning, prep and presentation so that every bowl leaving the line feels like Sprout.

Keep the restaurant ready

Stay on top of checklists, cleanliness, stock and restaurant procedures so the team has everything they need to deliver a great service.

Champion safety

Make sure food safety, hygiene and health & safety standards are understood and followed throughout every shift.

Support the bigger picture

Work closely with your Restaurant Leader on things like recruitment, retention, stock, waste, rostering and improving how the restaurant runs.

You’ll probably love being a Team Leader at Sprout if...

You naturally take responsibility when something needs to get done
You enjoy helping other people get better
You can give clear feedback without making it a big drama
You like being in the middle of a busy shift rather than watching from the sidelines
You care about food, service and the small details
You’re organised, reliable and someone the team can depend on
You’re curious and want to keep developing as a leader
You bring good energy and genuinely enjoy working with people

If you’re looking for a leadership role where you can stay in the background, avoid difficult conversations or leave the team to figure things out themselves, this probably isn’t the one.

A little about experience

If you’re joining Sprout externally, we’d ideally like you to have around 2 years’ experience in hospitality or another fast-paced, high-standard environment, with some experience taking responsibility for people or shifts.

Just as importantly, we’re looking for someone with the attitude and potential to grow. You’ll need to communicate confidently with the team and customers and be comfortable understanding food safety and restaurant procedures.

If you’re ready to step up, lead from the front and help create a restaurant that people genuinely want to work in and come back to, we’d love to hear from you.
