We now wish to recruit an Senior Project Engineer to coordinate, oversee and manage numerous projects.

The successful candidate will have a proven track record of working with multi-discipline Engineering\Design, Project Management and Construction Management teams.

Responsibilities

Support the management and execution of projects throughout project life cycle from initiation to closeout
Report to the Projects Programme Manager and responsible for supporting a diverse portfolio of strategic projects with the capability to project manage small projects autonomously as the business requires
Project execution will focus on safety, schedule, and budget adherence while complying with good engineering practices, company policies, regulations, and codes
Manage cross functional teams, delivering complex Manufacturing Facility and Processing projects, in a highly automated GMP Production environment
Manage the overall financial performance of engineering projects, including cash flow, life cycle costs, business opportunities and risks
Contractor/vendor management, project schedule management and schedule development
Risk management and action plans to mitigate risk
Strict adherence to safe working practices as set out in the safety statement and other company safety rules
Control and monitor the safe working practices of contractors while on site
Understanding of Environmental Health & Safety Requirements on a Pharmaceutical Plant

Qualifications

A minimum of 8 years’ experience in the Project Engineering / Management of large capital projects
An excellent record in Health & Safety
A bachelor’s degree in a related engineering or architecture discipline (Process, Electrical or Mechanical preferred).
Experience working in a highly regulated environment such as Pharma, Medical Device, or Semi-Conductor
Well-developed interpersonal and communication skills are essential, along with a good understanding\experience of project controls & governance through the full project lifecycle
Project Management Professional (PMP) or Professional Engineer (PE) license is preferred but not required
