Responsibilities

Prepare and manage detailed cost estimates and budgets for construction projects.
Monitor project expenditures, ensuring compliance with budgetary constraints.
Assist in preparing tender documents, including Bills of Quantities and contract submissions.
Conduct site visits to assess progress and identify financial challenges or discrepancies.
Collaborate with project managers and stakeholders to optimize cost efficiency and resource allocation.
Review and negotiate contracts with subcontractors and suppliers.
Provide support and expertise in resolving financial disputes and contractual issues.
Keep abreast of industry trends, regulations, and best practices related to quantity surveying.

Bachelor's degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, or a related discipline.
A minimum of 2 years of experience as a Quantity Surveyor in the construction sector.
Strong knowledge of cost management principles and construction processes.
Proficiency in relevant quantity surveying software and Microsoft Office Suite.
Excellent analytical and numerical skills for accurate cost assessment.
Strong communication and negotiation abilities for interacting with clients and contractors.
Detail-oriented with the capability to manage multiple projects and deadlines effectively.
Professional membership (e.g., RICS, CIOB) is a plus, but not essential.
