Qualifications & Training Requirements

Minimum of two QQI Level 5 modules:

Care Skills

Care of the Older Person

Valid Patient Moving & Handling certificate (training available if required)

International Police Clearance, where applicable

Essential Competencies

Demonstrates compassion, patience, and empathy

Dependable and attentive, with a strong commitment to high-quality care

Effective communication skills with clients and internal teams

Ability to work independently and adhere to company policies and safety standards

Previous care experience is desirable

Job Responsibilities

Providing personal and practical care in accordance with individual care plans

Supporting client independence and social engagement

Maintaining dignity, privacy, and respect at all times

Reporting concerns, incidents, or changes in condition to management in line with company procedures
