spunout is Ireland's youth information and support platform, working towards an Ireland where all young people are supported and empowered to thrive.

About the opportunity

spunout currently has vacancies on our Finance and Audit Committee and is seeking individuals with relevant expertise. We are particularly interested in people with experience in one or more of the following areas:

Strong track record of financial management or audit experience in an organisation with similar (and ideally greater) scale to spunout
Charity finance, including experience with restricted and unrestricted funding
Ability to provide clear, insightful and informed financial reporting for trustees
Commercial acumen aligned with a commitment to spinout's mission
An understanding of state funding models and associated expectations
A collaborative style to support and constructively challenge the Executive Team

These roles are suited to practicing finance executives from larger charities or commercial organisations who bring strong governance practice and want to apply their expertise in support of spunout.

Subject to their contribution on the committee, successful candidates may apply for full Trustee/Director roles as they become available through retirements each year. We welcome mid- to senior-level applicants, including those who prefer to contribute at committee levels and those interested in progressing to the Board of a leading mental health charity.
