About the Role

As part of our planned strategic growth and organic development, we are hiring additional Business Development Managers, who will be crucial in building out the sales function within Ireland. The role will include direct B2B selling, partnership development and networking. The role will be part of a growing business with the opportunity to play a critical role in our future growth.

You will be responsible for:

Selling direct to business to meet revenue targets
Building partnerships with key partners and advisors who can provide high value connections
Interact with Marketing to build the brand
Representing RCK Partners Ireland at relevant networking events
Interacting with the UK sales team to facilitate cross-selling and provide knowledge to enable further transfer of UK clients having Irish subsidiaries
Attending high-value sales meetings with specialist technical consultants
Managing your own portfolio of clients

About You:

Hunter - capable of full sales function ownership, from prospecting to close and service delivery handover
Minimum of 5 years' business development and sales experience, ideally within financial services or management consultancy
Established network within industries such as engineering, technology, manufacturing are desirable but not essential
Knowledge of R&D tax credit scheme is desirable but not essential
Experience with modern CRM systems
Experience in attending and organising/hosting networking events
Ability to present in public and 'be the face' of the organisation to prospective clients
Strong interpersonal skills
Organised and dependable
Strong communication skills
