We are currently seeking a Production Support Engineer to join our team in Dublin, Dublin (IE-D), Ireland (IE).

Role Overview

We are looking for a proactive Production Support Engineer with strong Java debugging skills and hands-on experience in L1/L2 support. The role involves managing production health, resolving incidents, and supporting deployments in a fast-paced payments environment.

Key Responsibilities

Provide daily production support including monitoring, mailbox management, and issue resolution
Debug and troubleshoot application issues to ensure system stability and uptime
Coordinate with Payment stakeholders for issue clarification and resolution
Follow incident, problem, and change management processes
Support testing, production deployments, and infrastructure-related activities

Required Skills & Experience

2–3 years of experience in Production Support (L1/L2)
Strong knowledge of Java with hands-on debugging experience
Understanding of Incident and Change Management processes
Experience with Kafka, MQ, and RESTful APIs
Knowledge of RHEL/Linux and Shell scripting
Understanding of Java Spring Boot / Microservices architecture
Experience with deployment tools such as Ansible
Good knowledge of RDBMS databases (preferably Oracle)

Ability to work independently and resolve issues proactively

Production Support Engineer
