Our client is seeking a reliable and experienced Forklift Driver / Warehouse Operative to support daily warehouse operations in a busy distribution environment. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys hands‑on work, takes pride in accuracy, and contributes to smooth warehouse flow.

Key Responsibilities

Operate forklifts and other manual handling equipment safely and efficiently
Load and unload goods from vehicles and storage areas
Move, stack, and organise stock according to site procedures
Pick, pack, and prepare orders for dispatch
Carry out stock checks and support inventory accuracy
Maintain a clean, organised, and safe working environment
Follow all company policies, safety guidelines, and operational procedures
Work collaboratively with warehouse and logistics teams to meet daily targets

Requirements for the role:

Valid forklift licence required (Counterbalance)
Previous experience in a warehouse or logistics environment beneficial
Experience in goods-in, goods-out, or inventory control would be beneficial
Strong attention to detail with a focus on accuracy and safety
Ability to lift and move items as part of daily tasks
Good communication skills and a cooperative attitude
Comfortable working in a physical, hands‑on role
