Job Description

Report to the Executive Director, Fund Administration, a list of your responsibilities will include:

Lead and develop a team of client delivery professionals responsible for the provision of high‑quality accounting and administrative services, ensuring consistently strong client outcomes and service excellence.

Manage client relationships and act as escalation point for all client queries and resolve issues/queries raised by the client in a timely manner. Maintain a high level of client satisfaction and retention.

Ensure the team is appropriately resourced, skilled, and engaged. And together with your Senior reports design and structure the team to promote efficiency, scalability, and consistent delivery against organisational objectives and performance targets.

Ensure full compliance with internal policies, procedures, and control frameworks, while proactively identifying best practices and opportunities to enhance service quality and operational effectiveness. Assess high risk areas and implement necessary control framework to minimize operational risks.

Actively contribute to and, where appropriate, lead systems enhancement initiatives, global and local change projects, and continuous improvement efforts designed to increase efficiency, scalability, and control.

Support business development initiatives as required, including participation in client presentations, onboarding activities, and broader growth initiatives.

Foster an environment of teamwork. Provide timely, relevant and honest feedback to your staff during the core cycle process and throughout the year to promote an environment of support and growth. Responsible for performance management of the assigned team members.

Support KPI and Management Reporting for client delivery and outsourced activities, including ownership, timely reporting, review, escalation, and remediation of issues in line with internal governance and regulatory expectations.

Actively contribute to global initiatives, cross‑functional projects, and governance committees aimed at improving operational processes, strengthening controls, and enhancing the overall product and service offering.

Qualifications

Post-secondary education/University Degree with a concentration in finance or accounting.
Proven experience within the fund administration industry (minimum 8 years), with exposure to Private Credit / Private Debt assets strongly preferred. Experience may be gained through roles with fund administrators, investment managers, or fund auditors
Strong understanding of the fund administration business model, including the key drivers of profitability, operational efficiency, and client delivery success
High proficiency with Microsoft Excel is an essential requirement for this role with experience using Power BI to support operational reporting and advantage.
In-depth understanding of the fund administration industry. This includes multiple fund structures, fee calculations, financial instruments and fund offering documentation review.
Experience with fund accounting software Geneva, Investran or Yardi and working knowledge of Bloomberg would be beneficial
Completion of, or active progress toward, a recognised professional qualification (e.g. ACCA, CIMA, CA, CGA, CMA ICAEW, CFA, or equivalent) is considered a strong asset.
