This role offers the opportunity to manage complex licensing projects across multiple international jurisdictions within a fast-growing financial services environment.
You will take ownership of regulatory projects from initial research and strategy through licensing approval and operational launch.
The position combines regulatory analysis, legal coordination, corporate structuring, compliance, and stakeholder management.
You’ll work closely with lawyers, consultants, registration agents, regulators, banks, payment providers, and internal teams.
Your work will directly support international expansion and the successful launch of regulated financial operations.
The role requires strong organization, analytical thinking, attention to detail, and the ability to manage several critical processes simultaneously.

Accountabilities:

Manage financial licensing projects end to end across multiple jurisdictions, from regulatory analysis and strategy selection through license acquisition and operational launch.
Research and analyze regulatory frameworks, licensing requirements, corporate structures, substance requirements, tax considerations, and operational restrictions across different markets.
Assess jurisdictional options and support the selection of appropriate regulatory and corporate structures based on business and compliance requirements.
Coordinate the preparation and submission of licensing documentation, including collecting corporate records, arranging apostilles, and ensuring complete, accurate, submission-ready packages.
Track regulatory deadlines, project milestones, dependencies, and deliverables to ensure licensing processes progress efficiently and on schedule.
Coordinate with local legal counsel, regulatory consultants, registration agents, and other external advisors throughout licensing projects.
Collaborate with internal legal, compliance, finance, operations, and other stakeholders to ensure all regulatory requirements are addressed.
Analyze existing corporate structures and support the preparation or adaptation of corporate documents and internal policies in line with applicable regulatory requirements.
Contribute to the development and adaptation of AML/CFT policies, risk management frameworks, and other compliance documentation required for licensing and ongoing operations.
Support corporate banking and payment infrastructure onboarding, including communication with banks, EMIs, and PSPs and preparation of KYB documentation.
Coordinate activities required to ensure payment infrastructure and corporate accounts are operational and ready to support the licensed business.
Manage the transition from licensing approval to operational launch, ensuring accounts, PSP integrations, internal procedures, and client onboarding processes are ready.
Maintain clear and proactive communication with regulators, external advisors, and internal stakeholders throughout the full lifecycle of licensing projects.
Identify regulatory or execution risks early and independently develop practical solutions to keep projects moving forward.

Requirements:

3+ years of professional experience in legal, regulatory, or compliance roles within FinTech, cryptocurrency, FX, payments, or a related financial services environment.
Demonstrated experience managing licensing projects from initial regulatory analysis and documentation preparation through license acquisition and operational launch.
Strong understanding of regulatory research methodologies and the ability to interpret requirements issued by different financial regulators and jurisdictions.
Experience working with corporate structures, licensing documentation, compliance policies, or regulatory frameworks.
Familiarity with AML/CFT requirements, risk management frameworks, and regulatory compliance documentation.
Experience coordinating with external lawyers, consultants, registration agents, regulators, banks, EMIs, or PSPs is highly valuable.
Understanding of corporate banking, KYB requirements, payment infrastructure, and financial services onboarding processes is an advantage.
Strong project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple regulatory processes, deadlines, dependencies, and stakeholders simultaneously.
High level of ownership, reliability, and attention to detail, particularly when working with sensitive legal and regulatory documentation.
Strong analytical and structured-thinking skills, with the ability to interpret complex requirements and independently develop solutions to regulatory challenges.
Excellent organizational and prioritization abilities in a fast-paced, international environment.
Strong communication and stakeholder-management skills, with the confidence to coordinate effectively with both internal teams and external professional advisors.
Professional English proficiency sufficient for working with international consultants, legal documentation, regulatory materials, and cross-border stakeholders.
Ability to work independently while maintaining clear communication, documentation, and accountability across complex projects.
