Accountabilities:

Design and implement robust backend services tailored to trading and financial systems
Own features end-to-end, including database schema design, API development, testing, and frontend integration
Build and maintain real-time infrastructure and high-performance client-facing APIs
Develop and execute integration tests using real dependencies to ensure system reliability
Collaborate across teams to deliver scalable, production-ready features

Requirements:

At least 5 years of production experience in backend engineering
Strong proficiency in TypeScript or another strongly typed programming language
Experience working with trading systems, financial infrastructure, or exchange-related environments
Solid understanding of distributed systems and transaction processing
Familiarity with modern backend frameworks (e.g., NestJS, Spring, FastAPI)
Proficiency in SQL and experience with production-grade ORMs (ideally TypeORM)
Knowledge of precise decimal arithmetic in financial contexts
Strong testing mindset, particularly integration-first approaches
Ability to independently deliver frontend components using React or Next.js
