Summary of role:

We are looking for a Part Time Trainee Supervisor to join our Nourish team in a busy retail environment in Dunnes Stores, Cornelscourt S.C., Dublin 18. This position covers 16-20 hours per week, working Saturday and Sunday as well as one mid week evening. Candidates must be flexible to work within the opening hours of 7am to 10pm.

You will work alongside the leadership team, to develop the necessary skills and knowledge to eventually assume a leadership role within Nourish across our Dublin locations. The ability to travel within the greater Dublin area is essential for this role.

This role is located within a concession of a fast-paced supermarket environment. Candidates must be comfortable building relationships with customers, fellow Nourish teammates, and Dunnes staff members.

Role Responsibilities:

Lead the performance of the store during the weekend by taking ownership of all trading activity and ensuring all tasks are completed to a high standard
Lead the weekend team with clarity, direction, and professionalism
Maintain consistent store standards in line with Nourish expectations across merchandising, availability, cleanliness, and presentation
Provide coaching and on-the-floor support to ensure high standards are met and maintained
Support the development of a Weekend Supervisor and encourage growth in weekend team members
Support the weekday team through midweek contribution to stock accuracy, store routines, and communication
Ensure stock levels are maintained through regular floor walks, chilled checks, EPOS data, and stock counts
Deliver excellent customer experience by promoting holistic consultations and maintaining a calm, professional floor presence
Act as a role model on the shop floor by demonstrating professionalism, initiative, and reliability
Use key targets to motivate the team and keep focus during busy trading periods
Address issues as they arise and escalate any concerns to the Store Manager where appropriate
Maintain a motivated and productive working environment that supports the team’s success
