Minimum qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance, or equivalent practical experience.
Professional qualification in CIMA/ACA/ACCA or equivalent.
7 years of experience in accounting or a related function, or 5 years of experience with an advanced degree in accounting, business, or finance.

Preferred qualifications:

MBA or Master's degree.
Experience working in a Technical Accounting role, or similar industry or practice.
Understanding of IFRS 2 share based compensation.
Ability to work with senior management to influence decision making.
Ability to be organized with excellent attention to detail and people management skills.
Excellent project management, communication, and problem solving skills.

Responsibilities:

Provide financial records and supporting documentation to auditors, and assist with the development of process cycle memorandums and procedural walk-throughs.
Engage with internal and external stakeholders on managing queries, ensuring continuous process improvement and enhancement.
Perform technical research on complex accounting issues and provide accounting consultation advice to business partners under International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS) on a broad range of topics.
Keep business partners abreast of developments in accounting and financial reporting and related policies and positions through issuance of various communications, training sessions, and other meeting forums.
Oversee delivery of share based payment expenses under the Alphabet Plan for 80+ international entities at interim and year end.
