We’re now looking for a Field Service Engineer to join our Limerick team. In this role, you’ll be responsible for maintaining security systems and providing excellent service to our customers.

What you’ll do..

Maintain intruder alarms, access control, and video surveillance systems at a variety of customer sites.
Carry out fault finding and first-line support for security system issues.
Complete planned and reactive maintenance, as well as installations, as required.
Respond to service calls and maintenance visits using the PDA system, working closely with the Service Manager and Service Desk Coordinators.
Manage van stock, tools, and safety equipment to ensure you’re fully prepared for each visit.
Adhere to Health, Safety, and Quality standards at all times.
Participate in the on-call rota when required.
Maintain accurate reports and documentation for all service activities.

What You’ll Bring

Technical knowledge of intruder alarms, access control, and video surveillance systems (e.g., Pacom, Hikvision, HKC, Galaxy).
Experience with IP-based systems and strong fault-finding skills.
A solid background in the security, fire, or communications industry.
Excellent communication and customer service skills.
Professional, organised, and able to work independently under pressure.
Proficiency with PDA systems and basic administration skills.
A willingness to learn and stay up to date with new technology and industry developments.
Full driving license.
