Job Title: Payroll Analyst – Full Time

Job Purpose:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Payroll Analyst to join our small, collaborative payroll team based in Ireland.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to build a career in global payroll operations.
The team is responsible for the accurate and timely processing of 19 payrolls across multiple countries, including Europe, Asia, and Canada.
The Payroll Analyst will support end-to-end payroll processing, compliance activities, and continuous improvement initiatives, while working closely with internal stakeholders and external payroll providers.
This is an in-office position, and the successful candidate will be expected to work on site five days per week.

Main Duties and Responsibilities:

Support the end-to-end processing of 19 payrolls across multiple countries, ensuring accuracy and timeliness
Collect, validate, and reconcile payroll input data (new hires, terminations, salary changes, bonuses, allowances, etc.)
Work with local payroll vendors and internal HR teams to ensure payrolls comply with country-specific legislation and company policies
Review payroll outputs, perform variance analysis, and resolve discrepancies
Assist with statutory reporting, payroll tax filings, and year-end activities
Maintain accurate payroll records and documentation in line with audit and compliance requirements
Respond to employee payroll queries in a professional and timely manner
Support internal and external payroll audits as required
Contribute to payroll process improvements, standardisation, and documentation
Ensure payroll data is handled in line with GDPR and data privacy requirements
Perform ad hoc duties as required

Previous Relevant Work Experience:

Basic understanding of payroll principles (tax, social insurance, deductions, gross-to-net calculations)
Experience working with Excel (e.g. VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, pivot tables)
1–3 years’ experience in finance operations, payroll, or a related role with knowledge of ADP Celergo and Workday HRIS preferred

Minimum Qualifications:

Post Leaving Cert Qualification (Certificate or Diploma) in a relevant finance area
Payroll or accounting qualification (or working toward one, e.g. IPASS, APA, ACCA/CIMA foundation level) preferred
