Job Summary

Vision Contracting is currently seeking an experienced Concrete Foreman to join our Dublin/Leinster team. This is a key site-based role, ideally suited to someone with a strong background in RC frame construction and proven experience delivering structures of five storeys or more.

You will take responsibility for the day-to-day delivery of all concrete works on site, including foundations, vertical elements, slabs and structural cores. The successful candidate will play a hands-on role in driving quality, safety and productivity across a busy, active site.

Responsibilities

Oversee and coordinate all on-site reinforced concrete works, including foundations, columns, walls, slabs, stair cores and associated elements
Supervise and manage direct labour and subcontractors, ensuring productivity, quality and programme targets are consistently met
Ensure all works are carried out in full compliance with health & safety regulations, method statements and company standards
Monitor progress against the construction programme, proactively identifying and resolving delays or sequencing issues
Work closely with engineers, site management and the design team to resolve technical and buildability challenges
Maintain accurate daily records of site activities, inspections, deliveries and labour resources
Drive quality control across all concrete works, ensuring adherence to project specifications and tolerances
Coordinate with site logistics to ensure timely delivery of concrete, formwork, reinforcement and related materials

Requirements

Proven experience as a Concrete Foreman or in a similar supervisory role on large RC frame projects
Strong working knowledge of formwork systems, steel fixing, and concrete placing and finishing techniques
Demonstrated experience delivering RC frame structures of 5+ storeys
Ability to manage multiple crews and subcontractors in a fast‑paced, high‑output environment
Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to give clear direction and maintain team focus
Solid understanding of site health & safety requirements and statutory compliance
Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and construction plans
Excellent organisational skills with strong attention to detail
