Global Sports Trader

Role Purpose

As a Global Sports Trader, you will bring your innovative thinking and inquisitive mindset to crafting an exciting, bespoke product for Flutter customers across some of the most high-profile sporting events in the calendar.

In this role, you will work across a portfolio of prestigious events — including Golf Majors, Grand Slam Tennis, Rugby, and Formula 1 with the ultimate aim of maximising gross gaming revenue and delivering a market-leading experience for our customers.

Our team spread across Dublin and Melbourne bring together a wealth of experiences and perspectives, fuelling innovative and creative solutions 24/7 365 days a year to ensure our brands and customers have the most exciting sports product available across the globe

Accountabilities & Responsibilities

Ideation, management, and compilation of a range of compelling markets for Flutter customers across 150,000+ events per year

Trading & risk management using a mix of market references & trader insight

Working closely with cross-functional teams, sharing insights and fostering a culture where every perspective is valued.

Interacting confidently with a broad range of internal and external partners

Maintaining a keen eye for detail in creating and managing attractive betting opportunities.

Comfortable with ambiguity and capable of making quick decisions with limited information.

What We’re Looking For

A genuine focus on understanding customer needs combined with strong attention to detail.

Clear and thoughtful communication skills that help you connect with colleagues, partners and suppliers globally

Good understanding on Excel and similar software products.

A flexible attitude toward working hours, including evenings, weekends, and bank holidays when needed.

While knowing about odds and probabilities is a plus, we offer continuous training to get you fully up to speed.

An interest in sports such as Golf or Tennis is a bonus, but we welcome candidates with a variety of interests and experiences.

Openness to learning and applying AI and emerging technologies.
