Location: Ireland | Sector Focus: Life Sciences, Pharmaceutical, Manufacturing & Adjacent Industries

The Opportunity

Ireland's life sciences, pharmaceutical and advanced manufacturing sectors are among the most dynamic in Europe - and we're looking for a commercially sharp, relationship-driven sales professional to lead our growth in this space.

This is a rare dual-mandate role: you'll take ownership of a portfolio of existing relationships that haven't been fully activated, and turn them into thriving, long-term partnerships - while also hunting down and winning new business across the sector. Succeed here, and you'll be the natural choice to become our go-to industry lead for this vertical in Ireland.

If you love the chase of a new deal as much as the craft of growing an account over years, this role is built for you.

What You'll Do

Reignite and grow existing relationships

Take a portfolio of accounts with untapped potential and build genuine, senior-level relationships from the ground up
Understand each client's real business challenges and map out where you can add value beyond the current scope of work
Run regular business reviews that shift the conversation from transactional to strategic - positioning yourself as a trusted advisor, not just a vendor
Identify and convert opportunities to expand your footprint across departments and business units

Win new business

Proactively identify and pursue new client opportunities across life sciences, pharma, manufacturing and related sectors
Lead with insight and solutions, not just price - solve real business problems and let that do the selling
Build a qualified pipeline through your own network, referrals and targeted outreach
Close deals that establish a strong first foothold with new clients, setting up long-term account growth

Build a sector practice

Partner with our specialist delivery and solutions teams to bring tailored, high-value propositions to clients in your sector
Develop a deep understanding of the regulatory, talent and technology pressures shaping the industry, and translate that into commercial opportunity
Build the case studies, reference stories and market credibility that position you - and us - as leaders in this space
Grow into the recognised go-to person for this industry vertical in the Irish market

What Success Looks Like

Growth in revenue and account value across your reactivated portfolio
New client wins and a healthy, qualified pipeline
Strong client retention and satisfaction, with relationships moving from single engagements to multi-year partnerships
Recognition as the sector expert clients and colleagues turn to first

What You'll Bring

A strong track record in senior sales or account management in Ireland, ideally with exposure to life sciences, pharmaceutical, manufacturing or other complex, regulated industries
A genuine ability to sell solutions and outcomes, not just services - you know how to move a conversation from cost to value
Confidence building relationships from scratch and reviving ones that have gone quiet
A natural balance of hunter and farmer instincts - equally comfortable opening doors and nurturing them into long-term partnerships
Strong collaboration skills, working closely with specialist and delivery colleagues to shape winning solutions
Ambition to build something significant - this role has a clear runway to becoming the senior commercial voice for the sector in Ireland

Why This Role

You'll join a growing, ambitious organisation that gives you real autonomy over a strategic slice of the business. This isn't a role where you inherit a script - you'll shape the sector strategy, build the relationships, and be recognised for the results. If you're looking for a role with genuine ownership, a clear growth path, and the backing of a business that's serious about winning in this space, we want to hear from you.
