THE ROLE & THE TEAM

We’re looking for a skilled and proactive Talent Acquisition Partner to join Zalando. In this role, you’ll take full end-to-end ownership of a diverse and high-impact portfolio covering some of our business areas, such as Zalando Marketing Services, Size & Fit and Partner-facing teams. As a key partner to the business, you’ll bring vast expertise in the tech and non-tech (commercial) talent market, a data-informed, hands-on approach to talent acquisition, combining active sourcing, strategic collaboration with employer branding, and a commitment to delivering an outstanding candidate experience.

INCLUSIVE BY DESIGN

At Zalando, our vision is to be inclusive by design. And this vision starts with our hiring - we do not discriminate on the basis of gender identity, sexual orientation, personal expression, ethnicity, religious belief, or disability status. You are welcome to leave out your picture, age, or marital status from your application. We only assess candidates on their qualifications and merit.

We are committed to a fair and inclusive hiring process. Please let us know if you have any specific requirements or need any adjustments so we can best support you.

WHAT WE'D LOVE YOU TO DO (AND LOVE DOING)

End-to-end recruitment: take ownership of the entire recruitment journey in different areas (tech and non-tech), from initial strategy briefing with stakeholders and candidate interview screening through to complex offer negotiations and closing.
Direct sourcing expertise: build innovative strategies to proactively identify, attract, and engage top talent using a variety of channels, with a strong emphasis on direct sourcing through LinkedIn. You'll craft compelling outreach messages and build robust talent pipelines.
Stakeholder management: work closely with existing recruitment teams and senior leaders across various business units. Your low-ego, high-collaboration approach will be key to understanding needs and delivering results.
Versatility: masterfully manage full-cycle recruitment processes for a diverse range of roles in all seniority levels (junior to head-level positions) across different job families (consultants, finance, HR, marketing, project management, category management, applied science, software engineering, data, product management, etc.).
Champion candidate experience: ensure every candidate interaction is positive and reflective of Zalando's employer brand and identify opportunities to improve this even further.

WE'D LOVE TO MEET YOU IF...

You’re a seasoned recruiter: you bring solid experience leading end-to-end hiring processes in the tech and/or non-tech space. From shaping hiring strategies to closing offers, you know how to deliver.
You know the Talent Market inside out: you understand a wide range of roles' scopes, skill sets, and market trends, and use that insight to guide hiring decisions and engage the right talent for our roles.
Sourcing powerhouse: you're not just waiting for candidates to come to you - you consistently hire top talent through targeted outreach, especially via platforms like LinkedIn.
You build strong partnerships: you’ve built trusted, effective relationships with hiring managers, interviewers, HRBPs, and cross-functional teams and know how to keep everyone aligned and informed.
You own it: you’re proactive, solutions-oriented, and thrive in fast-changing environments. You take initiative, operate with a high level of professionalism, and get things done without being asked twice.
You collaborate with ease: you bring a low-ego, team-first attitude. You listen, adapt, and co-create with stakeholders, earning trust and delivering value at every step.
