The Intern – Strategic Sourcing will work within the IBU Strategic Sourcing Procurement Team. Supporting the team’s development, creation & execution of International Category strategies for assigned areas of spend.

Responsibilities:

Support the strategic sourcing procurement team to develop/execute category strategies for assigned areas of spend.
Share learnings with other team members in the strategic sourcing team during specific weekly brainstorming sessions
Support our International Business Unit sourcing owners for assigned categories within the IBU Procurement organization.
Promote supplier relationships in conjunction with business areas.
Support with guidance the internal sourcing/tendering process (RFP’S / RFI’S), utilizing Ariba tools.
Partner with colleagues in global procurement

Requirements:

Currently enrolled in 3rd level education and ready to pursue student placement as part of an undergraduate degree.
Bachelor’s degree in Business / Finance / Commerce / Accounting being pursued.
Excellent command of written and spoken English. Additional languages capability would be advantageous.
Familiarity with elements of Procurement / Supply Chain / Business / Finance
Good IT literacy with Microsoft Office suite and experience working in teams.
