Warehouse Operative – 6-Month Fixed-Term Contract

A Day in the Life of a Warehouse Operative

As a Warehouse Operative with Store-All, you will play a key role in ensuring the efficient day-to-day operation of our warehouse. We are seeking motivated individuals who can work effectively within a team environment, follow instructions from Supervisors and Team Leaders, and contribute positively to our workplace culture.

In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining high standards of quality, safety, and operational efficiency while supporting the delivery of excellent service to our customers. You will work closely with fellow warehouse operatives, supervisors, managers, drivers and clients to ensure all warehouse activities are completed safely and accurately.

The successful candidate will be a team player with a flexible approach to work, a strong awareness of health and safety requirements, and a commitment to delivering excellent results.

This is a physically active role requiring frequent movement throughout the warehouse and manual handling tasks. Applicants should be able to carry out the essential duties of the position safely and effectively.

Key Responsibilities

Adhere to all Health & Safety policies and procedures.
Operate warehouse equipment including Forklifts, Reach Trucks, Magaziners, Pallet Trucks and Floor Washers.
Load and unload goods safely and efficiently.
Locate, pick and process stock accurately.
Carry out cycle counting and inventory checks.
Handball and re-palletise loads where required.
Maintain excellent housekeeping standards.
Support the efficient operation of the warehouse while maintaining quality standards.

Skills, Experience & Qualifications

Previous warehouse experience is desirable.
Counterbalance, Reach Truck, Ride-On Pallet Truck and/or VNA certifications are advantageous but not essential.
Strong awareness and understanding of Health & Safety requirements.
Full, valid driver's licence.
Good IT skills with accurate data entry and strong attention to detail.
Ability to work effectively as part of a team and communicate clearly with colleagues and supervisors.
Flexible, reliable and committed to delivering high standards of work.
