As the Operating Model Transformation Lead on our Technology Services team, you will be instrumental in redefining how technology supports and drives business value at Plante Moran. Your ability to architect and lead large-scale operational transformation will be critical to evolving our I/T department into a high-performing, product-oriented organization.

We're seeking a transformative leader to design, guide, and implement improvements in how people, processes, and technologies converge to deliver efficient, value-based solutions. Your expertise will help align technology capabilities with business outcomes, foster agile ways of working, and instill ownership and accountability across product teams

Your role.

Lead efforts to shift from project-based delivery to a product-centric operating model, embedding ownership, value-driven prioritization, and continuous improvement across technology teams
Partner with business and IT leadership to define the structure, governance, and talent strategy for an effective product organization.
Conduct comprehensive analysis of current-state processes, organizational structures, and systems to uncover improvement opportunities and define future-state operating models.
Establish guiding principles for product portfolio management, including road mapping, backlog governance, and metrics tracking aligned to business outcomes.
Facilitate the creation and evolution of product teams, defining roles, responsibilities, ways of working, and performance objectives.
Guide testing, piloting and validation of new operating models and processes, ensuring effectiveness, scalability, and responsiveness to user and stakeholder needs
Drive adoption of agile and user experience practices across teams; facilitate workshops, coaching sessions, and design thinking engagements.
Foster a culture of accountability, innovation, and customer-centricity within the I/T department.
Guide teams through change management efforts; develop communication strategies, stakeholder engagement plans, and training programs to support adoption.
Provide mentorship and contribute to building transformation capability across the organization.

The qualifications.

Bachelor’s degree in Business, Information Systems, Finance/Accounting, or related degree required.
10+ years of experience, with 5+ in transformational leadership roles.
Deep understanding of agile methodologies and experience building cross-functional product teams from the ground up; certifications in Scrum, Agile, LPM or SAFe a plus
Experience working within or with professional services firms or industries with similar structures and governance models
Demonstrated success in leading operational transformation or implementing a product-led delivery model within technology or professional services organizations.
Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams, influence stakeholders, and drive strategic alignment.
Excellent analytical, communication, and facilitation skills; able to bridge technical and business perspectives.
Adaptability not only in project methodologies—whether agile, waterfall, or hybrid—but also in collaborating with diverse teams and personalities.
Strong interpersonal and oral communication skills.
Self-directed, organized, and results-driven, with a passion for continuous improvement and empowering others.

This is an exempt position, so you may have to work hours that exceed the standard 40-hour work week.
